This standard covers the hexagon flange bolts with nominal diameter body formed by cold forging, used only where positioning with use of bolt body is required (hereinafter referred to as “bolts”).This bolt is used in such a case that the bolt body is required to strictly restrict the movement of a part or to achieve high shear strength. For general uses, hexagon head bolts shown in “Hexagon bolts with flange” (ISD-C01-501Y) shall be used.
